Court of Justice clarifies the scope of the ‘standstill’ obligation during an EU merger review

This article considers today’s decision of Europe’s highest court clarifying the scope of the ‘standstill’ obligation during an EU merger review. The decision is a welcome development given the lack of detailed guidance and the high level of current regulatory scrutiny in this area.
