This article considers the key changes anticipated by the recast Council Regulation (EC) 1346/2000 on insolvency proceedings (ECIR) as they will affect corporate insolvencies.
It also briefly examines the amendment intended to clarify the relationship between the ECIR and Council Regulation (EC) No 1215/2012 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters.
