The briefing summarises the latest Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2019 and offers practical tips we have drawn from the survey and our experience of advising on cyber incidents.
The Government’s latest Cyber Breaches Survey was published this week. In this client briefing we look at the results from the survey which suggests, among other things, that cyber attackers are targeting fewer businesses, “but may be attacking these [businesses] more frequently or substantively”, re-affirms that there is still a gap between perceived risk and action when it comes to cyber, and highlights some unintended consequences of the GDPR.
