PRA Policy Statement PS16/20 - Regulated fees and levies: Rates for 2020/21 - July 2020

The PRA has published a Policy Statement (PS16/20) setting out its regulated fees and levies for 2020/21. It has not amended the proposed rates outlined in CP4/20, which was published in April 2020. The annual funding requirement (AFR) for the period between 1 March 2020 and 28 February 2021 is calculated as £275.4 million, representing an 8% increase from 2019/20. This total comprises ongoing regulated activities costs of £263.8 million and Brexit-related costs of £11.6 million.

PSR Minutes - Meeting of the board on 13 May 2020 - July 2020

The Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) has published the minutes of a meeting of its board of directors, which took place on 13 May 2020. The minutes record, among other things, discussions regarding its Enforcement Decisions Committee (EDC) (which is yet to hear a case), the PSR’s approach to enforcement and the composition of the PSR’s Panel.
