This 13th edition of The Banking Regulation Review contains chapters on the UK and Hong Kong as well as on International Initiatives and an overview of the European Union

2022 in some respects offer the prospect of a return to normal for the sector after years of Brexit-related uncertainty and challenging macroeconomic conditions arising from COVID-19. The UK chapter of the Banking Regulation Review describes the regulatory framework that applies to the sector. This edition focuses on a number of key issues of the past year including regulatory change and reform, the regulatory impact of COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine.
